Written by the legendary Harold Zoid, The Magnificent Three was meant to be the comeback for the retired comedian. To finance the movie Dr. Zoidberg and Bender recruited All My Circuits star Calculon. The deal was, if Calculon financed the movie, he would star in it - and he would get a Oscar for his performance. The movie was overall terrible although Zoid did win an Oscar for his performance.
