The Great Monkey Desert is a desert that, in 3013, [7ACV16] Zoidberg told the rest of the crew that he had seen dried monkey carcasses in after the professor said that, if they did not get him more Good News-brand herbal supplement, which he had run out of, his arthritis would make him seize up like a dried monkey carcass. Zoidberg may have eaten from these carcasses.
The supplement's active ingredient, which the crew acquired on Omicron Persei 8, later cleared up the professor's arthritis, as well as his glaucoma.
