The Trouble With Trilogies is the fifty-fifth comic issue, released 25 May, 2011 in the US.
The Story
Fearing that the Planet Express ship is about to crash, Fry, Bender, and Leela must each take a one-man escape pod, and they soon find themselves in separate worlds. Fry lands in a dusty, Old Western town under the thumb of a vengeful outlaw; Bender discovers a post-apocalyptic, fuel-deprived society of road warriors; and Leela becomes part of a society of blue-skinned natives who need help protecting their beloved rainforest from a military onslaught.

- This issue features the last of the six black light posters, however it is the first not to have been used as a cover for a previous comic or comic collection. The poster features Mom's head with an octopus-like body attacking the staff of Planet Express who are riding in a hover-convertable.
